The secret cellar (Chamber B) of Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is giving lot of suspense.
It was expected to be opened on 4th July 2011.
But adding to the suspense, the examiners found that it was difficult to open the doors which were made with strong iron bars.
There was extra locks for the door which was not able to be opened.

ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone peep into someones property? Try to reveal the secrets of your own house and then go and open God's treasure. Some secrets are meant to be secrets, if possible try to find the mystery of our own existence
ReplyDeleteThis world is far different than what we can feel from our senses. There are some things which are far away from our understandings. We have 0.001 percentaqe of knowledge available in the universe. So its better not to try something foolish which can make our god angry. I am not scared about the result of opening the door...its just that we should not disturb god Vishnu's Yognidra.
ReplyDeleteWe should stop interfering in that matter and should leave everything on travancore family.
Iam a regular visitor of pathmanabhaswami temple from my very young ages, everybody who visits this temple knows that there are valuables worth billion crores inside the cellar , u can't call all these as treasures, becoz something unknown discovered is called as treasures, but people in kerela , who visits this temple knows about the cellars, cellar b is not oppened as the door is jammed as it was not oppened for a long , it is called mahabharata konath kallara , we should be proud of this temple that they have preserved all the stuffs , for those who say that this should be distributed for clearing poverty , I say there are assets for churches and mosques , why don't distributing their wealth , why focussing only on hindu temples , or there are many valuables which is stolen frm india like orlove diamond , etc , why u guys don't bother about that....
ReplyDeleteGuys , lets leave about mosque, church, temple ... its a historical asset of trivandrum kingdom ... there are many treasures and historical assets like this found in india .... we are keeping it safe forever ... just like that we have to keep these temple gold monuments and all ... Also , do any one think that we can use this temple asset for our society poverty in between these heavy corruption happening India ??? so its better to keep it in temple itself as well protected ... so please dont get fight by speaking under religious aspects ....
ReplyDeleteWhat use is something if no one is allowed to see it or touch it?
ReplyDeleteOf course it should be opened. Such a treasure belongs to the people of India, and should be viewed by the world!
Open it. This might be India's chance to finally give something to the world other than an over populated land of dirty smelly people
ReplyDeleteThis post reminded me of an ancient folktale of arab origin.
ReplyDeleteIn that story, a young ambicious man trading in silks throug the desert almost gets killed by a sandstorm, when he is saved and brought to care by a simple woman to her humble house. In her house there is water, food and joy and laughter of children. She invites him to stay for as long as he wishes on one condition: he must not open any of the three doors of the alst room of the house.
Growing curious as the days passed, he opens one of the doors and finds himself in a more luxurious house with a bright woman that enjoyed having long conversations with him and had servants, a richer house and a garden. She invites him to stay for as long as he wishes on one condition - never to open any of the three doors in the last room of the house.
He had allready been told that before only to find more and better, so one day he opened one of the doors.
He was arrested by guards as he found himself in a garden of a palace and taken to the presence of the queen of that place. Eventually, she begun to trust him, had long walks in the garden with him, showed him the palace, and years went by, as they falled in love with each other. One day, she showed him the last room with three luxurious doors that he should not open, so they woud be happy together.
Untill, one day, despite all the happyness in his life, he entered the room and opened one of the doors. He was brought back to the sandstorm, barelly surviving, lost in grief and remorse.
He cryied for the missing children laughter and woman kindness, for the hospitality of the bright woman, and most, for the loss of his love.
He had more than enough wealth and had not been able to see it or value it.
susan u are a british u will always loot your opponents as you open this door you will get a curse misfortune this belongs to our lord sreevishnu
